Let us not forget the article in the journal Nature (28 Sep. 2006) that showed the political appointees in the Department of Commerce buried a "Hurricane Fact Sheet" created by NOAA that stated a causal link between hurricane intensity and global warming. The report was suppose to come out in May 2006, but was never released. Instead an edited version was released in October after the Nature article came out.
