I would simply like to add something that I rarely hear. The simple truth is that the Bush cabal has far exceeded even the most grandiose visions of the far right wing agenda that existed 20 years ago. The use of "inverse deception" is their most potent tool. They have mastered the art of perfidious disinformation, in the style and craftsmanship of Joseph Goebbels. So let me state the terrible "F" word once and for all. The Bushies are NOT conservatives, not neocons and NOT even moderate right wing - they are......neo-fascists! I studied fascism in college and did a paper on the subject which covered the origins of this form of social pathology ranging from its ancestral origins to its current incarnations and when it smells, tastes and acts like fascism is it is fascism. In fact, I coined the phrase back during Bush I stating that we were being infiltrated by “candy coated fascism – tastes great, goes down smooth then kills you”. The Cheney-Rove empire, as I call it (Bush is extremely shrewd but just a front man)is the complete manifestation of American Fascism in its most insidious, and virulent form. I am using this forum to get across a point based upon the fact that they have brought back Schlozmann to the Justice Department and further demonstrating their unprecedented level of cynical contempt for any form of law in addition to their arrogance. I feel that we are in CHECK MATE meaning that from the beginning, I felt that once the Cheney-Rumsfeld-Rove cabal stole the presidency in the face of a spineless Clinton administration, we had officially entered a Fascist regime, successfully cloaking themselves as "conservatives and moral Christian zealots" with the despicable assistance of their media pimps, namely Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and all their affiliated mouthpieces. The fact that the media, excluding the few bastions of truth such as yours, totally ignores what I feel is the most dangerous aspect of the Bush Administrations envenomation of Democracy, which is the unprecedented infiltration and propagation of right wing disinformation, malicious slander, and propaganda, is systematically destroying the people's ability to receive any form of a neutral, factual flow of information.

The Karl Rove system of preemptive propaganda and slander attacks, using their designated media whores such as Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Coulter, Hannidy, or any number of their massive arsenal, has choked off any consistent access to untainted news information. For those who don't think that those whacked out, sociopaths , like O'Reilly and Limbaugh don't have a profound effect on the populace, think twice! Case in point, I personally know at least a dozen people ranging in divers ethnic, economic, educational and religious backgrounds and they are completely INDOCTRINATED by either Lumbaugh, Fox news or their affiliated thugs. These people seem to be ordinary, US citizens, perfectly pleasant, seemingly intelligent, civil members of society YET they are raging ideologues when it comes to politics, reflecting the venomous hate mongering bile that is spewed 7 days a week by the above mentioned right wing media whores. My friends say "oh, don't worry about the right wing media, they are fringe and only appeal to hard core wingnuts". To that I say, "you are WRONG". This is like Hitler crossing the Rhine. We centrists, liberals and even some libertarians are in a deep sleep and as a result, the neo-fascist media campaign as already achieved their basic agenda, to control through intimidation, and pure bully tactics, the information flow. CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, Newsweek, Time, Washington Post and so many other entities that used to represent the benchmark of journalistic integrity have been either scared into submission and/or deeply infiltrated by neo-fascist "black ops" meaning that they have hundreds of key "assets" innervating their ranks and basically, insuring that the news reporting is subverted. At this juncture even PBS has been compromised. Where is Edward R. Murrow when we need him?
My point is certainly not new, however, it is under reported. The right wing domination of at lest three of the most critical sources of news dissemination, Television, Radio and Print, is coming dangerously close to putting the first and fourth amendments in checkmate. We are certainly in CHECK right now. The fact that the black ops of the Cheney-Rove cabal (who by the way, within the hierarchy, only answer to their stealth style oil-corporate handlers) has been and is an on going 24/7 operation, coordinated, funded and run by fanatics who will use any means necessary to achieve an objective (and I mean ANY means), represents an extreme crisis point in our history. This country is in actual danger of dying from a metastasis of covert neo-fascism. This new and most dangerous form of neo-fascism, funded by cold warrior billionaires such as Richard Melon Scathe , Rupert Murdock or Peter Coors etc, not to mention all of the top oil CEOs including the most powerful ally of all, ExxonMobile, is a multi headed demon that is too powerful to fight. The only viable recourse we have is to stir up a shit storm. Come out blazing on every media market available and play their game against them, meaning, call them "neo-fascist pimps for oil, habitual liars, sociopaths, traitors", over and over and over and over. We have to shove history down their throats, repeatedly invoking the historical events such as Iran-Contra, Harkin Oil, W's cowardly escape from serving in Vietnam and the family history involving Prescott Bush, the father of George H.W. Bush and how he was always a player for the hard right including his serious criminal act in the early forties where he was caught supplying funds to the infamous Nazi Farbin Corporation along with his buddies Alan and John Foster Dulles. Bush, and the Dulles brothers along with other members of their cultish Skull and Bones fraternity, all worked for the nefarious Brown Brothers Harriman group. The Bush family goes back a century always wielding secret deals with the most powerful members of the corporate-industrial-military machine including J.P Morgan, DuPont, Randolph Hearst, Standard Oil and so many more. Senator Prescott Bush helped to engineer the careers of Richard Nixon and even helped to push Eisenhower into the white house. He despised JFK and was intricately and intimately involved with the CIA for decades. His son George was inextricably involved with the dubiously, ill fated Bay of Pigs operation called "Operation Zapata (Bush's oil company) and even included two naval ships called Barbera and Houston (many sources citing that Prescott Bush urged his pals at the CIA to ensure the mission would fail in order to embarrasse Kennedy). George Bush Sr. has also never accounted for why J. Edgar Hoover sent him a memo requesting information about Lee Oswalds interrogations on November 23rd 1963, naming "George Bush of the Central Intelligence Agency". Bush's subsequent denials have been descredited and he as since, never answered what his involvment with the JFK situation was. This demonstrated a disturbing pattern of habitual lying that the father and the sons have perpetuated over the years. George Bush Sr. was also heavily involved in Watergate as the RNC chairman and was one of the few high level operatives that were strangely untouched by the scandal. Its no coincidence that George H. W Bush became CIA director out of nowhere and that the CIA is currently, dubiously called the "George Bush Intelligence Center. Its also no coincidence that millions of dollars were poured into back ops to virtually destroy the Clinton administration, with out a blink from the media and no doubt set the table for the entrance of George W. Bush who as warned by Molly Ivans in her book "Scrub", would go on to virtually destroy the infrastructure and democratic foundations of the United States if he were to be elected President. She warned us about how his chief, ruthless sociopathic operative, Karl Rove, would decimate the Government as we know it replicating what he did to the Texas Government. Molly Ivans warned us that Bush was not a moderate conservative as he was feigning, but would turn out to be as demonstrated in Texas, a morally bankrupt, blazing hard right wing extremist. Her book has become prophetic and sent an ominous warning that went unheeded. The Bush family has become the Sopranos of National Politics, untouched and unaccountable for their actions.
The Bushes were trained in disinformation and realize the critical importance of media control which has reached its ultimate form today, created by their surreptitious usurpation of FCC rules and systematic buy outs of hundreds of radio, TV stations and newspapers. This is their method of indoctrination - repeat a slogan or accusation, repeat again and again. Repetition is their tried and true methodology. It works and it is still working. I tell my friends that it is noble to stand above the detritus, to take the moral high ground, just and respectful of our constitutional rights, but unless we get down to the level of these snakes, they will continue to bite us on the foot, ankle and thigh and envemonate us with a potent, debilitating neurotoxin. They have no honor, they have no morality, they have no sense of compassion, fair play or integrity nor do they possess a modicum of moral decency that respects the constitution or individual rights. They are ruthless sociopaths and have no compunction about utilizing the most heinous methods of convert operations, cynically operating under the guise of divine guidance or any exploitable delusional dogma. This is why they so closely align themselves with the age old cloak of pious religious authoritarianism. They are mendacious enough to possess the temerity to hide behind Jesus or any convenient ideological vector in order to facilitate their goals. What can we do? They have successfully vilified the word "Liberal" (which means Liberty) because we have allowed them to and now they are well on their way to vilifying the word "democrat" or any political party or organization that attempts to expose them. We have to counter punch in the manner described, use their methods of systematic, repetition. We have to permeate the airwaves with what they are - and that is treasonous, ruthless, perfidious, neo-fascists or any synonyms that will be easily digested by the proto Neanderthals that are so easily seduced and indoctrinated by the hate laced sound bytes of the neo-fascist regime. Up here in the rural areas, you see hundreds of good ol'e boys in their Chevy Silverado pickups with Bush-Cheney stickers proudly displayed on their bumpers and rear view mirrors and at the same time you see the same trucks exhibiting nice little reminders that they are not boy scouts, often they exhibit stickers that cryptically represent the Arien Nations or some incarnation of the American Nazi party sitting smack next to their Bush-Cheney stickers. What does that tell us?
The next move on the chessboard is up to us and it better be brilliant.
