Tony Sanchez, a longtime public official from Guam, has resigned. Sanchez is facing multiple counts of conspiracy, theft and public misconduct for his relationship with Jack Abramoff. (Pacific Daily News)

A 2006 spill at a uranium production factory closed the plant for seven months, but the general public never complained. That’s because the Nuclear Regulatory Commission report was labeled “Official Use Only”, which means that even though the information is not a state secret, it cannot be shown to the public.
