Seems to me that sums up the entire Gonzo record. "I didn't see anything... my recollection is that my memory has no record of any ....."

As I read in the comments on another blog - how f**ked-up is our country when the police arrest the protestor and stand-by and protect the criminal.

I hope we see this everywhere Gonzo goes.

There's some pretty upset right wingers in the comment section of the school paper, but I didn't see anything in the video indicating that it was more than a simple, peaceful protest. I can't believe that he doesn't realize that he'd be much better off speaking in more traditionally conservative or christian school, so sither he likes the attention or the liberal schools are offering better coin (which he needs, desparately.)

On a purely superficial note: Why does he always wear suits with huge shoulderpads? He looks ridiculous. I haven't seen a suit like that in a store, ever. He must have those things custom tailored, which is even more disturbing.

That photo is encouraging. Did you see the footage of Andrew Card getting his honorary degree ? Also very good.

These guys must never have a minute of peace for the way they tried to wreck out government.

Republicans mock and sneer at government, saying it cannot do any good. Then they get into offfice and try to wreck it. Throw them out.

Christ, they actually paid Gonzales $40,000 for a speech? What could he say that could possibly have value to a University?

I am certainly no fan of Gonzales, but according to The Gainesville Sun, "the police only arrested those who rushed the stage--not the hecklers--because they posed a potential threat." I am fairly sure that a person rushing the stage during a performance by Garrison Keillor or Ivo Pogorelich would have also been arrested. It's kind of a no-no anywhere, even if you're peaceful.

But I especially like a previous poster's idea to don black hoods.

I was also reading the comment section in the Gator and, speaking of upset right-wingers, guess whom I found posting there with a vengeance????

All this while claiming it's just an "honest question".

I got so infuriated when I saw it again that I decided to out him to all the readers of the Gator. If someone objects to that, I plead temporary insanity!

I wanted to thank the college students who wore the hood voluntarily. Thank you for trying to show up the hypocrisy of schmucks like Gonzalez. Yeah, they like to hold the offices and titles and pay lip service to society...but, really, all they are interested in is power.
