Johnson's Spring Break
So what will EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson be doing for two weeks in April in Australia -- besides not testifying before Congress, that is? EPA Deputy Press Secretary Tim Lyons finally got back to us:
"The Administrator is set to discuss shared environmental goals and challenges with our global partners, while learning about their innovative approaches to carbon sequestration, water treatment and management, methane capture, pesticide risk reduction, and resource sustainability."

He was looking for allies in his fight against global warming regulation, and decided to head to Australia. Someone forgot to update his list of industrialized countries that are not signatory to Kyoto.
Australia just got on board in December, after elections.
Leaving United States to stand alone, like the cheese.

He is so on top of the global warming, he has to be in Aussie land for two weeks of hard thinking and talking and stuff. Much more important than working with Congress.

Good to see all that interest in carbon sequestration, what with the Administration pulling the plug on Futuregen after an Ill site instead of their preferred TX site was picked.

So much for the mission statement. Perhaps before he starts outreach to other nations he can get his sh*t together back at home. Never hurts to have some experience of negotation.

Can we IMPEACH him now?
Congress does have a say in actively removing political appointees from the administration. That's in the Constitution. Look it up.
And for anyone but the President, there is NO Supreme Court involvement at all.
