These preventable deaths in Iraq are of course not counted as combat deaths. So no one would ever hear about them if the mother had not raised her rightful stink.
And how many other deaths are hidden from our view? How many are attributable to "contractors"? With the likes of Blackwater and KBR we will probably never know. And will the Waxman inquiry ever find out and console the families that have been robbed of their heros?
