Confirmed: DoJ Investigators Probing Whether Goodling Fired Lawyer Due to Gay Rumors
Earlier this month, NPR reported that the Justice Department inspector general's sprawling investigation into politicization at the Department included a probe of whether Monica Goodling had fired an attorney because she'd heard a rumor that the lawyer might be gay.
In a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Patrick Leahy (D-VT) and ranking member Arlen Specter (R-PA) earlier this week, the inspector general Glenn Fine confirmed that his office was digging into such accusations.
It's still anybody's guess when that investigation, which Fine is conducting along with the Office of Professional Responsibility, will conclude. It launched more than a year ago, during the heat of the U.S. attorney scandal.

Yet the blonde trixie herself said that she and others in the RNC were actively caging in direct violation of a three decade old judicial order . . . then zero, nothing, nada, . . .

They'll string out this investigation until 2008. My first thought was add Goodling to Bush's growing end-of-term pardon club. But history shows that at every turn Bush and his cronies leave accused women, guilty or no, to fend for themselves.

I recall reading once that Goodling actually reported to US Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan and received a letter of recommendation to another DOJ position from Buchanan. Is this true?

Monica sweetie , Regents University Alumni , you who swore fealty to President Bushcheney - you might have to face some criminal charges now - certainly civil lawsuits if he gets proved up that you did indeed fire that poor Attorney because she was a lesbian .
Monica- It will be interesting to see if those who will judge you -will be kinder & more forgiving then you and your bosses were to that nice lady whose career you destroyed because of a
misguided & arrogant attitude toward personal choices that in the end are none of your business.
Monica- there is a separation of church & state - and by golly you and the other Regent Mullahs are fixin' to find that out ...

Boy, has there ever been an admininistration that has been this vile, digusting, putrid, revolting, incompetent, constitution-hating and hypocritical as the this one?
And to think that these sanctimonious cretins ranted to the point of impeachment for Clinton lying about a blowjob.
Geez, America sure has problems.
Are we truly a land of lazy, good-for-nothing under-educated idiots?
Sure seems that that way if our government is "for the people, by the people."

Bush43's admin beats Regan's, Hoovers', Adams' and McKinley's.
The Admin that might be worse is McCain-Clinton '08.
