Hearing on Twenty-Something Contractors Postponed
For those of you waiting to hear from the senior executives behind AEY, Inc., you'll have to wait a little longer. The House oversight committee, which had set a hearing for 22 year-old AEY President Efraim Diveroli, his 25 year-old VP (and masseur) David Packouz, and the company's general manager, also 25, to testify, has indefinitely postponed the hearing.
Packouz's lawyer had informed the committee that his client would be pleading the Fifth unless he received immunity to testify -- something which seems unlikely. So that likely has something to do with the postponement. Diveroli and his boyz are under federal investigation for allegedly lying about the source of the ammunition he provided to the Afghan army.

Can't give them immunity, but they need to be compelled to testify about what sort of operation it is, and who they're really covering for -- Aish Hatorah.
If this is the case, it certainly wouldn't be the first example of a religious organization using munitions manufacturing to fund their coffers; people don't seem to be aware that Sun-Myung Moon's Unification Church was deeply involved in munitions trade.

One would think well constructed questions could assist the Committee, if it truly wanted an investigation, to pursue a specific direction of inquiry. Questions such as: How did you find out about the Request for Proposal (RFP)? Who assisted you in completing the RFP? How was it determined this would be a Sole/Single Source contract? (I don’t remember if it was) Who was the Contracting Officer? What contacts with the Officer did you have? Even taking the Fifth on any or all of these should be instructive to the committees’ investigators.

There will not be any immunity as these kids' families aren't big time Republican campaign donors. The Bush Administration welcomes any and all delays that will help string this investigation out until after the election. Better still, they'll try to leave this mess too for the next Pres. to clean up.

What everyone is missing in this story is the sex scandal.
These young man obtained access to the contract and were awarded it because they were
providing sexual favors to the men in charge of the contract and awarding it to them.
Why hasn't one reporter covering this story questioned the "nature of the access" these young men had to the government? It isn't "so mysterious" once you realize the connection.
As we know this administration is riddled with
connections to male sex workers and has given them access in the past.

20 something and getting multi million $$$$ contracts. What creds does this kid have to make his way into the inner purchasers of the US Military? Business Degree? Former Military service? WTF
