St. Lurita

From Government Executive:

Doan's unconventional tactics were on display last Wednesday at a GSA conference in Anaheim, Calif. At a dinner sponsored by a contractor trade group, she appeared on stage with arrows sticking out of her head, shoulders, arms and legs, according to a transcript of the speech posted on GSA's Web site. Using the arrows to illustrate her challenges at GSA, Doan said she had been taking shots from the media, Congress and those who represented the "status quo."

I believe that's what's called a martyr complex.

Government Executive also reports that Doan's ongoing feud with the GSA's inspector general really was the reason for her firing, citing a number of sources including Doan. When the President's Council on Integrity and Efficiency dismissed whistleblower complaints against the inspector general, Doan very publicly and stridently criticized the panel as a "hollow shell" that's "real purpose is to whitewash any wrongdoing." She also vowed to continue pressing those complaints.

"I believe that's what's called a martyr complex."

No, thats whats called somebody going publicly crazy as a shithouse rat.

I haven't seen such a display of belligerent moronitude since Heckuva Job Brownie left. Hey, Lurita. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

She might be crazy but I'd still do her.

And then you could burgle her turds!

Meheheheh.

Not just any martyr, St. Sebastian specifically. I'd call that a martyr complex with delusions of grandeur.

This is what happens when vapid meets stupid.

I am going to guess that vapid is the GOA gal and Stupid is errr, Bush??? Well, it occurred to me anyway.

I hope youtube has the speech and photo of arrows.

Did the arrows pierce her inflated head?

that this person seems to define Republican minorities, is bad, because in part she got in as a twofer: woman/minority. Just her arrogance alone and her confidence on her way of running the GSA --not the way her predessors have according to policy and rules, speaks the way Bush has taken unitary executive, its my way and you better get used to it mentality. Can we say foolish?

now her ilk will be history in a Democratic administration.

I don't think she'll be prosecuted. The remedy is dismissal in Hatch Act violations.

I guess technically, federal anti-corruption laws do qualify as "The Status Quo".

A M F !!!!

I have to give it to the bush administration, they sure know how to collect idiots. They seem to get dumber with each passing day. There should be an idiot watch list for future reference to make them easier to spot before they actually open their mouth.

That women is a moron supreme. Where in the world did they dig her up in the first place? Fired not a moment too soon. Her word bi-play with the congressional committee should have been an embarrassment for her, but I'm sure she doesn't see it that way. She probably walked out of the room thinking: "Nailed it!". We need a government of true servants of the public good. I grow so tired of these self-interested, self-inflated morons who get propelled from obscurity to pseudo fame. But the fame almost always come about because of some malfeasance or other. I've been waiting for four years for another election so we can get rid of some of those appointees.
