Addington and Yoo to Testify on Interrogation Practices
Hell must be freezing over.
David Addington, the Vice President's Chief of Staff and executive privilege aficionado is set to testify with John Yoo, former Justice Department Official and spinner of words, on interrogation practices in Guantanamo this Thursday, June 26 in front of the House Judiciary Committee.
As we've reported before, this has been a long time coming. We're taking bets to see who pulls a Feith.

I dunno. I think these guys think they are so f***ing smart they can dance rings around the Congressional persons. So they probably relish the opportunity to go up to the Hill and make fools of the panel. And from what I've seen of some prior Congressional "questioning," that shouldn't be too difficult a feat.

I agree. Look, they have precedent to look to; appearances by Gonzales, Johnson (EPA), Lurita Doan, et al. They know there's no down side to amnesia or lying.
Regarding their appearance before Judiciary, consider who these two bananas are. Enough said.
