Shouldn't It Be Called Phase VII By Now?
As TPM just reported, the Senate intelligence committee is releasing the much delayed Phase II report, which details and analyzes the pre-war intelligence on Iraq. We've prepped you for this before, but we think it's for real this time.

So, they're finally going to throw us this long-delayed bone. Who, besides Unserious Blogger Sites like this one, has been angling for this second chapter on the Great American Millennial Debacle? Mainstream Media? Not a peep - of course. The Democratic contingent on Capitol Hill? They're harnessed by the same forces and lobbies driving the Administration.
...And pass the canape, pappy.
The most we can hope for is not getting once again that "but... the whole world thought he had WMD" slop.

Maybe McClellan's book release kick-started them. It'll be interesting if this report doesn't square with everything that Wilkerson, Armitage, McClellan, et alii have written and said about it.
