Cunningham Seeks Presidential Pardon From Bush
Despite his stint in federal prison, Randy "Duke" Cunningham hasn't lost hope.
The convicted former Republican lawmaker from California has submitted a petition for a presidential pardon, according to the New York Times.
The 66-year-old inmate is about 19 months into a sentence of eight years and four months.
Another thing the Times notes is that convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff has not filed a petition.

Keep dreaming Randy!
The paragon o' virtue that is George Bush would never soil his good name with the pardoning the likes of one of only idiot dumber than him.

I'll bet $100 that he gets pardoned. This is easy.

A pardon for the Duke could only add Bush's glory and make the deciderĀ® the Pardon President as well.
Who knows? Bush just might set a new presidential approval record below 20%. That would make his legacy outstanding.

By the look of that blown-out face of his, being in prison probably prevented Cunningham from dying of acute alcoholism.

THE STORY ON DUKE...has not been told:
----Political benefactors at THE FRIENDS OF DUKE CUNNINGHAM PAC included WILLIAM LYON.
----LYON was instrumental in the 9/11 TREASON when LYON set up the diploma mill used by the San Diego cell;
----LYON is also tied to The WYLE brothers, who divested themselves from the reinsurance business nine months before the reinsurance companies got nailed on the WTC Silverstein insurance contract?
----LYON wa also tied to GLOBAL OPTIONS INC, all tied to retired US INTEL COMMUNITY.

Cunningham actually fulfills all of the qualifications and assets of being pardoned...
1. He is important and shouldn't have to bear the same punishment as the common folk
and
2. He belongs to the same party as the person able to pardon him.
The current trend seems to be that these two criteria are ample to get our perpetrators released from accountability... IMHO

Me thinks that folk here significantly under-estimate the lack of importance that the Chimp-in-Charge ascribes to the Republican Party. Bush43 cares only for Bush43. (Lack of Cunning)-ham means less than nothing to The Shrub.

Add my hundo to that already noted.
Bush will pardon every gooper out there on his last day (assuming that he actually leaves).
