Feith and Sands Set to Testify Today
Doug Feith is set to testify before the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties today at 10 AM ET, to discuss interrogation techniques used on detainees. Feith has a history of not showing up for this Committee, so we'll see how it goes this time around.
Phillipe Sands, author of "Torture Team," reported in a recent Vanity Fair article that Feith boasted to him that he was a "real player" in the Guantanamo interrogation policy. Feith later defended himself, saying he'd been misquoted-- but Sands countered with the tapes from the interview. Sands will also be before the committee to testify.
We'll be covering the hearing as it happens, so stay tuned for updates.
This might be worth a good watch. I look forward to seeing how perfidy is _really_ done.

I hate to judge a person on his or her looks, but this guy looks as if he should have been strangled at birth. He was probably bullied as a child and his ascension in government gave him the chance to do unto others as he was done to, even if the people who suffered had no connection to him in any way. Please, God, don't let any more people like this be born.

First of all, it may be a smidgeon off topic, but could any future stories about Doug Feith please not include the above photo? When I see that smirk on his face I want to slap him.
On topic, since when are one's words, recorded verbatim misquoting ?

Wouldn't it be great if the Democrats after the 2008 sweeping election wins - would appoint James Comey to investigate all allegations of war crimes committed by gwb43. And there was enough budget to hire Philip Sands as Comey's Chief of Staff -?
Does the committee plan on recalling General Tagube for more testimony ?
