Hans von Spakovsky and Ken Blackwell Set to Testify Tomorrow
The thorn in the FEC's side, Hans von Spakovsky, will be testifying tomorrow in front of the House Judiciary Committee on the 2004 Elections.
And who will be joining him? None other than Ohio's controversial former Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell (R).
The hearing starts at 1:00 PM ET tomorrow, and we'll be here, doing what we do best. . . which is to say watching an inordinate amount of CSPAN.

When will the HJC rule on Rove and the rest of those lawbreakers? any wagers? They will recess without any action taken....I want to do a citizen's arrest myself on Conyers for failing to uphold the constitution and his swearing to uphold it! anyone join me?

Wowie wow wow.
I hope someone will ask about the role of Missouri attorney Mark F. Thor Hearne, II who served as the Executive Director of the fraudulent American Center for Voting Rights nonprofit during the 2004 election cycle.
I really would like someone to ask about why Mr. Hearne received a significant payoff from then CIA Director Porter Goss in the form of a portion of Mr. Goss' waterfront estate in Sanibel, FL.
(Hint, check the Lee County, FL public records for transfers between Goss and "the Pillar Foundation" which is overseen by Hearne. Coincedentally the deal also involves the wife of Mark Andrews, who was a Swiftboat funder).

While we're talking about Missouri why don't drag Tim Griffin's ass out of his McCain 08 foxhole. He is on the ground in Missouri doing "voter research" which is basically caging voter lists and disenfranchizing the African American vote.
Tim Griffin is employed by straight talkin johnny mac. Funny, he didn't mention it to the NAACP or the Urban League.

I'd like to hear some questions about how the American Center For Voting Rights and the lesser known Free Enterprise Coalition coordinated their efforts with Ken Blackwell and the Bush administration. Alex Vogel, top Republican op, managed the efforts of both entities.
$2.8 million was funneled through the FEC between 2004 and 2005. Robert L. Livingston, Mark Elam and Dalton Oldham and other Republican operatives were FEC officers and directors.
The FEC was behind a bogus lawsuit filed in Ohio against ACORN, the NAACP and the AFL-CIO, charging them with criminal wrongdoing in connection with their voting registration drives.
If I remember correctly, ACVR was was the only voting rights group to testify about election fraud during Bob Ney's hearings into the '04 election, held in Ohio in March 2005. The fact that the ACVR had only came into existence three days before it testified didn't bother Ney.
I'd also like to hear someone ask Ken Blackwell about his communications with William M. Todd who was then with Squire Sanders & Dempsey.
From Todd's SSD bio:
"...He serves as general counsel for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, and its affiliated "issue advocacy" entity, Citizens for a Strong Ohio. He has served as counsel for numerous other groups involved in public information campaigns. Mr. Todd has been active in election law issues, particularly matters involving the federal Help American Vote Act and various state law issues. Mr. Todd served as litigation counsel in these election matters for groups such as the Free Enterprise Coalition, the American Center for Voting Rights and the Ohio Republican Party. In addition, he has been active in drafting legislation in both campaign finance reform and election law matters."

I hope they drag both Spazkoski (no I didn't misspell it) and Blackhole through the ringer until some truth pops out.

Why bother? GOPers suffer from severe memory loss when testifying under stress, such as Congressional time wasters. Medical science should investigate to determine if Conservatives suffer from a congenital brain disease. Of course Congress could expect witnesses to be prepared instead of allowing clock burning non answers and GOP member delaying tactics. Nah, to straight forward.
