Good grief. Lord knows I'm not voting Republican this year and I'm appalled at the thought of "President Sara Palin". But everyone has their little luxuries and hobbies - fishing boats, stock cars, skydiving, etc.

There is a groundswell happening as well. America's macro economy is in dire straits. Who do I trust to fix it: republicans who got us here or Democrats who gave us the Clinton years.

McCain campaign should be losing by 20 points, i view them as defying gravity. They KNOW they are too. That's why they shield Palin from the press (why allow reality to burst the Palin bubble?) and try to come up with a daily distraction to avoid addressing "the fundamentals."

My, my what a judgemental lot. Who cares if the lady has a tan bed? Alaskan Winters get very long and a tan bed is a great place to just grab a few moments of peace and quiet.....so who cares??? You can get them for a fraction of cost at a lot of places. I'd rather have a strong female politician who enjoys a tan bed than a self-serving male who admittedly snorted cocaine and recently put American soldiers in Iraq at risk so he could achieve a political advantage...you know, delay the withdrawal till he is in office and take credit. Rhetoric is no equivalent to product. What has he actually accomplished? What promises has he actually kept? Obama is an empty self-serving shell. Palin went after the oil companies and corrupt politicians in her own party.... what's so bad about that? Alaskans love her. I am an ex-Democrat who studied, learned and rejected decades of lies and abuse of poor and minorities by the Democrats. Promises never fulfilled and often repeated.

What's so amazing about this campaign, the McCain camp - and their press like Fox News - don't want you to know anything about Palin. On McCain's ~ I was a POW back in Nam ~ therefore I should be trusted absolutely. McCain is really playing that grandpa war hero thing to the fullest. But everything he has said about Gov Palin has either been untrue or a half truth. It’s like the bike is broken and they are still peddling like crazy down the road.

Bill O'Reilly is just all over himself - on Palin - kind of looks dopey really - Palin is Bush - oil and more oil - war and a bad economy.

You have the normal press - oh we don’t want to take sides - while Fox News has been all about wrecking Obama’s image - so much so that it became Sean Hannity’s full time job. Which explain why he was rewarded with the Palin interview – for showing loyalty to the party. You really need a media outlet which will oppose Fox News - straight up!

Overseas Bush turned America into a joke - if Palin is elected - the US might find corporation with other nations hard to come by - if it begins to look like the US has become a renegade nation - those EU nations - everyone finds funny - they are going to protect their interests first. No EU nation is going to go to war with Russia over a frackin gas pipeline through Georgia. Palin is bad news!
