Monegan's "Ominous Feeling" After Meeting With Todd

Walt Monegan told Steve Branchflower about what he was thinking directly after a meeting with Todd Palin, in which the "First Gentleman" had given him a stack of files about Mike Wooten's record, and had asked Monegan to look into whether Wooten had been appropriately disciplined:

Well, on the drive back as i was reflecting on the meeting -- drive back to the office, I was thinking that in essence they certainly didn't like the idea that Wooten was still employed. And they wanted severe discipline, probably termination, and that -- and if this was going to build, I had this kind of ominous feeling that I may not be long for this job if I -- if I didn't somehow respond accordingly.

What kind of files? Were they just personal files the Palins kept documenting incidents, or were they files about Wooten's record as a state trooper--in other words--personnel files or investigative files that a private citizen like Todd Palin shouldn't have had access to, much less been able to carry around?

The files in question here appear to be informal files that SarahandTodd Palin were collecting on Wooten's activities. Not only did Todd Palin follow (stalk?) Wooten night and day but SarahandTodd Palin PAID a PI to follow Wooten 24/7. I believe that was the bulk of what was in those files.

Also there was a picture of the cow moose Wooten shot using Molly's tag (license). It most likely was taken just before OR right after Sarah Palin's father, Chuck Heath knowingly butchered the illegal moose.

BTW, Gov. Palin knew the moose was illegal but she not only shared in the meat but served it to her entire family including Todd who also knew the moose was illegal. They reported it as illegal TWO years after they finished eating it.

Palin is such a complete novice (that's giving her a lot of credit) on the law that she could not understand that if Wooten was further prosecuted for the moose killing (Wooten already admitted to it and was disciplined by the Troopers) that she, GOV. Palin, would also be charged with partaking in that moose.

Also, Molly McCann could be charged for allowing someone else to illegaly use her tag. SarahandTodd Palin could not get these simple facts of law through their hate-filled minds even AFTER Monegan drew each of them a picture of what they would face.

Also, in the files was probably the picture Todd Palin "coincidentally" took of Trooper Wooten on a snowmobile when he was on Workmen's Comp. They were so eager to turn Wooten in that they didn't bother to check to see if his doctor okay'd that snowmobile trip. The doctor had okay'd it.

In those Palin files were also probably copies of statements from Mr. and Mrs. Lane as to Wooten taking an unopened beer from their house and then driving 2 blocks home with it in the Trooper squad car. Wooten had already been disciplined for this years before as well.

Finally there were probably copies of Sarah Palin's and Chuck Heath's wacky complaints to various Trooper officials about Wooten over the years. Some of these letters can be found on line.

As to the Wooten's Workmen Comp files that were illegaly released to Frank Bailey and then to Trooper Rodney Dial...Branchflower's investigation was not set up to make findings on this.

However, there is enough info from the investigation for Trooper Wooten to now go into civil court and sue the State of Alaska and SarahandTodd Palin (as individuals--if they actually are individuals and not joined at the hip). Also there may be things Walt Monegan can now take to civil court and sue the above on.

Thanks for all the info--fabulous summary with all the details and names.
