Palin Exonerated -- By McCain-Palin Campaign!

The McCain-Palin campaign, with an eye on the possible release today of the Alaska legislature's report on Trooper-Gate, last night unveiled its own "report" into the matter. And guess what? It clears Sarah Palin of any wrongdoing!

Campaign officials wrote:

The following document will prove Walt Monegan's dismissal was a result of his insubordination and budgetary clashes with Governor Palin and her administration. Trooper Wooten is a separate issue.

The use of the word "dismissal" is noteworthy. Lately, the campaign had seemed to settle on the story that Monegan was not dismissed, but rather was asked to take a new assignment, and quit instead of doing so. Todd Palin told the same thing in written answers to Steve Branchflower, the legislature's investigator, according to news reports yesterday.

The campaign's report blames Andrew Halcro, a blogger and political rival of Governor Palin, for conspiring with Jim Wooten -- the trooper whose ongoing dispute with the Palin family is at the center of the affair -- to make it appear that Palin fired public safety commissioner Walt Monegan because Monegan refused to fire Wooten.

Yup! Yup! This is about as credible as OJ Simpson's search for Nicole Simpson's and Ron Goldman's killers.

Tropper Gate - Not so much.
Geezer Fate - Guilty!

My friends,

I want to address today the scurrilous and unfounded accusations that I ate the plums in the icebox. The ones you were saving for breakfast.

Now, a lot has been bandied about from this quarter and that about my alleged wrongdoing, which has heretofore only been alleged. Now, the partisan legislative investigation that claims to have a "note" from me that begins "I just wanted to say..." has been the subject of much mainstream media biased reportage and such and such.

So to address this controversy foursquare, I have commissioned a panel consisting of myself, with no toher members. This is to prevent untoward leaks and to assure efficiency in the investigative process. We need to get to the bottom of this plum thing right, and right fast.

So today I am pleased to announce that after an exhaustive review of the evidence at hand, it is crystal clear that I did not--repeat, did not--eat the plums in the icebox. That were so sweet, and so cold.

I will be happy to take any questions you may have in the interest of transparency, in writing, starting November 5.

God Bless you and God Bless America.

Very really sincerely,

William Carlos Williams

Stupid comment thingy. That last post was from me.

She must be very relieved to have found herself innocent of any wrongdoing.

They've probably known for a few days that the exoneration is a done deal and they just couldn't wait to rub it in the faces of the "liberal media" that have "treated her so unfairly"!

I want to tell the IRS, you know those back taxes that you say I owe. I have had an investigation done and I don't owe them. And I won't accept your partisan assumption that I do owe them. And I will send you a letter before you send me one to assure everyone involved that I don't owe those taxes. I must say that my constituency(dog) is quite relieved to have these facts come to light in this investigation that I did. I now consider this matter closed and I will proceed to get a bunch of dummies to vote that I get to keep all their tax money as well. I may spread a little around to the dummies so that they will relect me.

In the meantime, I will raise issues that unite(no never divide) us. Golden oldies like killing babies, killing our soldiers, fixing elections and GOD!!!! This should leave us feeling cozy by the end of the election.

To see real videos of real women discussing their reactions to Sarah Palin & the misuse of gender issues in this year's presidential race, please take a look at the following blog (& forward to all your friends, family & open-minded folk at large):

Was I the only one that thought, at first, that this was the other Troopergate report due out today?

Hope so, but it probably did fool some others.

What a pathetic attempt to manipulate the public. Release your own report a few hours before the other.

From the article: "The campaign's report blames Andrew Halcro, a blogger and political rival of Governor Palin, for conspiring with Jim Wooten -- the trooper whose ongoing dispute with the Palin family is at the center of the affair."

Jim Wooten? Who the heck is Jim Wooten? So much for the tinfoil hat conspiracy theory. They can't even get the main players' names right.
