Pentagon Releases Report On TV Pundits Program
It's Friday at 4pm on the last business day of the Bush administration.
So of course, the Pentagon has just released its report on its TV pundit program, which it used to promote the Iraq war, that the New York Times uncovered last year.

Skipping straight to the conclusion,
"In our review, the evidence in this case was
insufficient to conclude that those outreach activities violated statutory prohibitions on publicity or propaganda.
However, we acknowledge that the National Defense
Authorization Act requires the Comptroller General of render a definitive legal opinion to the Congress on the matter."
