Foggo Sentenced To Over Three Years In Prison

The Associated Press reports that Dusty Foggo, the former CIA number 3 who pleaded guilty to steering contracts to his friend the defense contractor Brent Wilkes, has been sentenced to 37 months in prison -- just what prosecutors were recommending.

Foggo received tens of thousands of dollars worth of lavish gifts and vacations, in exchange for helping Wilkes get no-bid contracts, according to prosecutors.

Wilkes has pleaded guilty to bribing then-GOP congressman Duke Cunningham.

Yesterday, we reported on a treasure trove of court documents released in the case, which shed light on Foggo's scheme.

I wonder what else this pig sold. What filthy, traitor scum.

Wow, three years in prison for helping to trash the Constitution and the "Rule of Law" in the USA.

People get more time than that for stealing $50.00 from a liquor store.

The theft is exacerated by the fact that he was being paid by the people to uphold the law. This is disgusting. The criminal codes need to be rewritten to ensure these scum get what they deserve.

No kidding. I'd recommend 20-30 for this kind of thing.

I wonder if we will eventually see charges against the rest of the people in the CIA, DoD and White House that were part of Wilke's party DC circuit.

I still think keeping that investigation from working its way up the ladder was the real reason San Diego U.S. Attorney Carol Lam was fired.

Absolutely!

Cool!

Crimes against the state... 37 months (if he can hold off committing crimes while in prison he might get out early).

Of course, being patriotic can give you 3 or 4 tours in Iraq...

Isn't our justice system great!!

Of course if had been busted with 5 grams of crack in his pocket, he'd be looking at 5 years mandatory minimum. Equal Justice Under The Law!

Hey Candide. There was more than one transaction. Many transactions. We have people in prison for life on the 3X rule.
