AIG Hate Mail
Arguing that disclosing the names of the AIGers who got bonuses could put them at physical risk, CEO Ed Liddy reads some of the angrier mail he's been getting lately:
Barney Frank appears unimpressed.

If they're afraid because of taxpayer ire, then let them return the bonuses! It should be public.

He can't release the names becasue they've gotten some hate mail? Is he kidding?
That would be like some mobster saying he can't stand trial, becasue if it got out he's a mobster, some people might not like him and may even wish him bodily harm. What a joke.

Well, if they have email threats, turn them over to the police. Pretty simple.

I imagine Barney was thinking:
"Jackass - you have no idea what hate mail looks like."

Hey Liddy! Read this:
"I've been watching the Congressional Hearing with AIG CEO Liddy and the MSM Apologists whine about the mob with pitchforks who are out for nothing more than a lynching.
Well count me as judge and jury then; because the evidence I've seen of the collusion between the Banksters and MSM Apologists doesn't warrant a lynching; it warrants Big Biz and MSM Apologists sentenced to an Abu Ghraib hooding, wiring and stacking into a barking dog pyramid scheme; it warrants both being frog marched to a Devil's Island Dustin Hoffman/ Steve McQueen Papillon hell.
An embezzler and a pimp; perfect description of Big Biz and the MSM!"

What a stinking liar and hypocrite! If Liddy is so worried about the employees safety, then why did he agree to hand out the bonuses in the first place? And isn't he STILL handing them out? These people are corrupt BS artists to the core. They are the problem, not the solution. Liddy is one of Paulson's old cronies from Goldman Sachs. He's as bad as the jerk he replaced. Obama will never solve the problem in the economy until he begins confronting and weeding out con artists like Liddy. Surely there must be some executives with an honest bone in their body.

No sympathy. None.
These people are complicit in screwing over the *global economy*. Subpoena the bastards, release the names, and let the world decide. Tough darts, crooks. Don't do the crime if you can't face the penalty.
No sympathy. None.

If these leeches have such enormous salaries, let them hire bodyguards. I have no sympathy at all.

My thoughts exactly,Snarky. Shoot, bodyguards are cheap. Maybe they'll trade with us. Oh no. Never mind, I treasure my integrity.

Gee, for more than two decades patients and medical personnel have had to face the risk of being bombed or shot by relgious terrorists for the crime of trying to get abortions or even contraception. Maybe the masters of the universe need some girls to show them what courage looks like.

The obvious solution is for Mr. Franks to request only the names of those who didn't return their bonuses and publish them. Then those who didn't shouldn't have to worry because they can use those bonuses to hire some of the ex Blackwater operatives who supposedly are now unemployed. Unless they feel that maybe those operatives will take justice in their own hands.
