Siegelman: "The Fight Will Continue"

Don Siegelman has responded to the appeals court ruling earlier today that upheld most of the charges of which he was convicted.

In a blast email message to supporters, Siegelman wrote:

I am disappointed, but not discouraged. The fight will continue.

He added:

My family and I are deeply appreciative of the outpouring of support and prayers. Your words and actions keep our spirits lifted and our resolve strong. We will get through this, and we will win.

I would suggest that it may and/or should and/or would be of interest to TPM Muckreaders that on the Wikipedia.org Website that if you type in their search box the name(s) of Lewis 'Scooter' Libby, Richard Armitage (Politian), Karl Rove that you will find a seemingly and/or presumably a wealth of information seemingly relevant to this Article.

Aside from the obvious and that has been mentioned at length on the TPM Muckraker website and within the years of many formidable and/or superb and excellent and/or frustrated and exasperated blog comment replies.

A few observations that I have not heard mentioned are;

1) There has to my knowledge been no mention of any and/or the legal implications and/or ethics of the seemingly publicized fact that US Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald held and ordered confidential from the Defense and Prosecution and Court(s) and the 'We the People' Public the (legal) Fact that Richard Armitage was the leak and that Richard Armitage, Former VP Cheney Chief of Staff as the leak in the CIA Valerie Plame Investigation and seemingly ongoing investigation and seemingly within the main point in the Conviction of Lewis 'Scotter' Libby.

2) As US Attorney Leura Canary has recused herself from the Governor Don Sieglman Trial, how is it possible that a 'mis trial' was not applied for and/or declared?

If these mentions are of assistance to Tpm Muckraker and their Readers and blog comment repliers, then that appears that it is seemingly worthwhile that I have mentioned these observations.

Also and importantly as it is not my intent to offend anyone, hopefully TPM Muckraker will allow me to request to remove this reply and/or try to offer suggestions, corrections and/or modifications to this additional reply to this TPM Muckraker Article.

If my memory serves me, the presiding judge was so biased, basically a puppet of the tainted AG's, that that should be cause for setting aside the verdict and also remove that ass from the bench.
Also from my reading of early posts by Josh and Scott Horton, the actions that caused Siegleman to be convicted were mirrored by Gooper Sen Jeff Sessions. He took the same money, did the exact same stuff, but the Rove "operatives" never even sniffed at him.

I completely forgot some of the initial additional seemingly horrific initial circumstances and that then Governor Donald Siegelman must have also suffered that would also presumably and/or mandated a supportive and/or corroborative mis-trail. (and/or complete dismissal?).

Hopefully my implied apology, communication and appreciation for and of the efforts of moondancing (reply comment to tpmreader)(and TPM if and/or where applicable) are of sufficient appreciation within this seemingly most serious important matter and concern.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

While your apology is unnecessary, your etiquette is appreciated.
Below is the link to the Horton column that touched on both topics that alarm me so much, that is the fact that Siegelman was prosecuted for the same money and same action as the republican successor to the governors seat and the execrable Jeff Sessions recieved at the same time. Neither garnered a sniff from DOJ even thought the evidence of their actions came out in the investigation "judge" Fuller bent over backwards to keep it out of Sieglemans trial as well as away from any outside source as well.
And secondly, Fuller handled the trial and evidence in a way to suppress democratic fund raising and taint any state-wide candidates.
Read what you can find and tell me how comfortable you would be with such a fair and balanced judge....

I'd like to see the Justice Department appoint a special prosecutor, as Scott Horton writes.

Now let’s just stop and focus on this for a minute. Franklin won’t speak or answer questions on camera for CBS. He routinely brushes aside requests for interviews from national media. But he has no problem talking to his mouthpiece of choice, the Birmingham News. This is very noteworthy. And indeed, I believe that if a special prosecutor is appointed, a major focus of the inquiry will be the “special relationship” that developed between Franklin and his investigating team and the two Advance newspapers in Birmingham and Mobile. These papers consistently had all the inside story on the Siegelman case and they used it to demolish Siegelman’s reputation and to make a fair trial for him impossible. This explains why their attitude is now panicked and highly defensive.

In case my link doesn't work:

In my effort to be fair and appreciative and to the exemplary superb and excellent TPM Muckraker and the TPM Contributors, Readers and the (esteemed) blog comment repliers, I will note a few additional observations should they be correct and/or for further review and consideration.

1) In my previous blog comment reply on this TPM Article does it appear that the US Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald could be considered as reprehensible and/or have the seemingly exact same and/or similar charges brought against him (and/or Members of our US Executive, Legislative and/or Judicial Branches of our US Government)for his and/or their prosecutable conduct and/or lack thereof?

2) Is the recent 'Lack of Jurisdiction' claim to Dismiss (throw-out) the CIA Agent Valerie Plame matter also seemingly to some extent reprehensible and/or basically not caring who did have Jurisdiction?

Even though in only these two additional areas of concern I surmise there appears to be ample concern in the efforts towards Mr. Sieglman efforts to be successfully adjudicated and/or have this matter resolved.
