I saw it live last night---and it was pretty uncomfortable to watch. It's clear that she is being denied the access and transparency that she was assured she would have before agreeing to exercise oversight. That explains why she on TV couldn't answer half of the questions she was asked, some as simple as "So who's getting the cash?"
To her credit, she's been complaining loudly about the lack of transparency and has even posted a chat on youtube letting her greivances (and possible solutions) be known. Still, it's striking to observe just how much has been shrouded in secrecy from the woman who is supposed to be in the know, and that this veil of secrecy has been pulled by the guy who promised 'change we can believe in'.

The guy who promised change isn't in complete control of the country. The same level of transparency or lack thereof exists on every platform.
It's not a 'gtfo' package from Obama.

The difference between the interview before and after the commercial break was night and day. She was obviously trying to walk a very narrow line in the first part and she seemed to have to think very carefully about what she was saying. This made her come off as unsure of herself and someone who didn't have the fortitude to ride herd on this mess.
But when he switched topics after the break, she really came through. I went from thinking that this is not the person to be in charge of this to wondering why she wasn't given more power. Her brief history on why we need regulations with real bite and force was perfect and spot on. JS was right--hearing her summary was comforting.
