Greenberg: Managers Failed (After I Left)
From Hank Greenberg's testimony in front of Congress, which just started:
AIG's business model did not fail. Its managers did.
In 2005, Greenberg stepped down after a 37-year run as AIG's CEO.

The business model should never have been allowed in the first place. There is no place for gambling with others mortgages. These crooks will always be crooks.
