Is Pelosi Tying Torture Program To Push For Iraq War?
Here's a very interesting line from the statement Nancy Pelosi just gave:
We also now know that techniques, including waterboarding, had already been employed, and that those briefing me in September 2002 gave me inaccurate and incomplete information.At the same time, the Bush Administration was misleading the American people about the threat of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. (our itals)
Why did Pelosi mention that Bush administration's campaign to convince people that Iraq had WMD at this point?
In part, surely, simply to say that the Bush administration was misleading Congress and the public every step of the way on a range of related national security issues -- a fact she specifically mentioned elsewhere in the statement.
But could it also be that Pelosi is trying to tie the push for evidence that Saddam had WMD with the CIA's torture program? That is, suggesting -- as several other people are beginning to do -- that the program was designed in part to dig up evidence to justify the invasion of Iraq.

We now know some of the turture was an effort to generate false links between Hussein and "Al Qaeda". What if ALL the torture had that as its intended end? To generate the "evidence" "proving" the lie "true"?
If that were the case, then following that evidence will lead directly to exposure of the lie that put us in Iraq in the first place.

In an endeavor to offer and provide a few and few links to a 'review and condisederation' of your concerns are the following;
1) Seemingly there are a seemingly abundance of replies and evidence (smoking gun) and suggestions that President Obama//Holder pull the trigger. Please note that Media Democracynow.org has a today's archived brodcast that mentions the Tortured Individual whom the Bush Administration of Bush, Cheney, Powell and Rice et all, alleged knowingly provided that seemingly known false Statements to Illegally solicit to have an Illegal Iraq War. Further it is alleged and/or seemingly confirmed that the Tortured Individual has been under the Direct Control of the President Obama Administration Illegal Rendition, Illegal Secrecy and seemingly alleged illegal Secret Torture Program. The Tortured Individual has been Identified to have seemingly alleged to have been MURDERED APPROXIMATELY THIS WEEK WHILE IN ALLEGED US SECRET DETENTION IN ANOTHER COUNTRY (SYRIA, IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY) and directly from this President Barack Administration. The Country of this alleged Torture Victim Murder is trying to request (International) to have an Investagation and presumably autopsy.
3) As this morning I was viewing and listening to the US Congressional, Chairman Towns, 'Whistleblower' Hearing and I interpreted within the following;
Briefly, I just listened and viewed todays first 1/2 hour of Congress Oversight Comittee, Ref: Whistleblower hr1507 (that is nowhere to be found). The DOJ Testimony is seemingly a complete FRAUD!! CORRUPT!! = Creating a new Executive Office for Whistleblowers would appear to be creating an additional retaliation against 'Whistleblowers' and Identical to the CORRUPT, Fraudulent FEDCIR (+15c ecetra), OSC, MSPB et all and there are others with seemingly inappropriate,corrupt, fraudulent and negligent 'Conflict of Interest' if not allegations of blatent Criminal Behavior!!!!!!!!!!
It would clearly allow many Corrupt retaliations on 'Whistleblowers', and including the ongoing and additional such as Must file here first, or can not file elsewhere (until a decision, permission, state secrets ecetra) an many other easily alleged fraudulent and corrupt compliance applications that would, could and most likely be implemented and at will.

Nor do I.
I do however, make it a point to not casually dismiss unusual and unusually convenient coincidences. Even when pointed out by conspiracy theory fans.
It's true that murder witnesses die all the time, some from natural causes. Lead poisoning is generally not considered a natural cause.
-Witness to(victim of) torture, imprisoned at request of USA in foreign country, dies suddenly.
-Death just happens to be during a period of revelations about torture practices and policies becoming public.
-Further information suggests that deceased witness(victim) was an integral source for falsified information used to make case for invading Iraq, concurrent with growing evidence that torture was employed NOT to protect US, but rather to provide justification for invading country un-involved with al Qaeda and its acts.
-Coincidentally, information continually coming to light suggesting that legal opinions regarding torture may have been sought retroactively.
-Also coincidentally, foreign country of deceased witness'(victim's) incarceration, formerly a pariah nation and publicly (by USA) excoriated for support of terrorism had very recently made a ground-breaking deal with administration responsible for torture opinions, torture, invasion of Iraq, and incarceration of witness(victim) to torture.
-Said deal opened doors for cooperation with USA corporations, many friendly with members of administration which had sent witness(victim) to foreign country after renewal of friendly relations.
-Death of witness(victim) conveniently makes it difficult to corroborate some information regarding torture and impossible to elicit further information from witness(victim) about specific actions of former administration.
Cui bono?
Members of former administration.
Correlation is not causality, but it is also not evidence precluding a close relationship.
Those kinds of coincidences come up in a domestic murder or terrorism case, and there will be wiretaps on every phone of every person who so much as went to kindergarten with the suspects - in addition to agents examining contents of septic system/sewer pipe at suspects' residences.

Please allow me to more clearly interpret just one sentence in my/the above blog comment reply.
1) There appears to be an abundance of requests and replies for President Barack Obama (and within his verbal and written Pledges and Promises!!)to allow and provide for the Transparency!! with the proper and forthright 'Oversight and Accountability' to these many seemingly concurring and consistent 'Smoking Gun' Found!! Allegations!!!!
