SC Lawmaker On Sanford: "Lies Lies Lies"
MSNBC just had the reaction from State Sen. Jake Knotts, who has been raising the alarm about Sanford's disappearance for days now.
Said Knotts:
Cover-up, cover-up. Lies, lies, lies. His staff lied -- they didn't know where he was. I don't believe a word that comes out of that office.
Sounds about right.

No reason to cry for him Argentina -- he was never, ever really going to be the GOP candidate for Prez, much less going to be the Prez.
Ignoring the politics, what a crazy weird thing to do! I hope he had a total blast. I bet he did. I bet it was TOTALLY worth it, whatever it was he was doing.

He gave four boys a bad memory of Father's day. Bet it wasn't worth it.

Every family needs a set of weird stories in their history. "Remember the time Dad vanished for most of a week , without telling anyone, even though he was the Governor, and it turned out he'd left the country, gone to Argentina, and it was over Father's Day?" "Oh man, yeah. That was something. Wasn't that the last Father's Day Mom and Dad were actually together?"

We had a saying in the ER I used to work in:
BUY YOUR SON A MOTORCYCLE FOR HIS LAST BIRTHDAY

He might have missed father's day, but he spent it banging some argentinian showgirl. that probably polishes the sharp edges off his regrets.

Sanford has a lot of explaining to do and he needs to quit digging a deeper hole for himself.

This was his third trip to Argentina. He was there last year on an official visit. I bet he met an unofficial honey down there. Any takers. I will also bet his marriage doesn't survive.

Sex, drugs, probably not much and roll. Always goes back to the same things.

More than anything, a politician has to be considered trustworthy. He pissed that away for a week in Buenos Aires. South Carolinians should take note, as should his wife. Regardless of whether or not he committed adultery, how can she ever truly trust him again? How could we?

Why is it we're only hearing about a Republican trash talking Gov. Sanford? Why aren't any SC Dems making a ruckus? If they are, where's the reporting on that?

Republicans: Pride. Honesty. Integrity. Faith. And the God-given right to pass moral judgment on all non-GOPers while applauding the shameless antics of their own filth. May your Grand Old Party float in a toilet bowl for eternity.
