A website called the Post Chronicle has what it claims is a photo of mystery woman Cynthia Hampton. If this is her, it's one of those "eyes of the beholder" conundrums.

Be careful with that reference even though I must admit I said the same thing to myself when I first saw a picture of her. She looks like she has an eating disorder - like scarecrow time.

That's the same picture of Cynthia Hampton that I saw earlier at a major news website, but has now been taken down. But I seriously doubt that it is the same Cynthia Hampton. For one thing, I believe that I heard that the Hamptons are Mormons, and that is a site for Jehovah's Witnesses. For the second thing, it is in Ohio, whereas Doug Hampton's letter claims that he and his wife still live in their Vegas home across the street from Ensign.

Another thing---the story of the woman in the photo states that she was 20 years old in 1976. But the Cynthia Hampton, if she is now 46 years old as has been reported, would have only been only 14 years old in 1976.

Couple late night thoughts:
1. That house is still uglier than most every other house I've seen in Vegas -- and that's saying a lot. (I also study Vaastu, and it couldn't possibly be more wrong in that regard).

2. Senator Ensign... tall, trim, has that regal and rugged handsome look about him, complete with all that Senatorial power. Hampton... an overweight (complete with man-boobs), balding middle-aged doof in a knit shirt, with a "where's my shitzu?" look about him. If Mrs. Hampton had a pulse, she didn't stand a chance. Unless she resembles Mr. Hampton.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't find Ensign attractive at all - but the fact that he is a republican might be the reason.

He' still in the Senate. I thought he said when Clinton was caught with his pants down, that he would resign if he ever had an affair. How wonderful! Now's his chance to man-up and show us what kind of character her really has!
