How big of a suckup is Tim Griffin, the Rove protege who the White House was trying to muscle into a U.S. attorney post after firing the previous occupant?
In a January 2007 email, Griffin wrote to Rove:
Btw my wife is pregnant. We are thinking about naming him karl. Lol.
LOL indeed.
In a separate email form 2005, Griffin made sure Rove knew about his GOP insider credentials, informing him that he was about to leave for his honeymoon on “St. John,” where he would be “staying at Alex Castellanos place.”
