Last night Rachel Maddow picked up TPMmuckraker’s reporting on the Chamber of Commerce anti-health reform effort involving what Maddow calls an “American family dining chain that’s famous for its wings.”
That would be Hooters.
Maddow notes that the “We was framed!” argument of a PR firm involved in the campaign boils down to accusing reform supporters of setting “this whole thing up in order to make the Chamber look bad.”
“Which if you think about it,” Maddow says, “isn’t a very nice thing to say about Hooters. And I have heard that their wings are awesome.”
