Landrieu’s New Orleans Office Swept For Bugs After Phone Incident

What’s a U.S. senator to do after a visit from a man known for planting hidden cameras?

Sweep the place for bugs, cameras, and any other listening devices, of course.

A spokesman for Sen. Mary Landrieu, who sits on the Homeland Security Committee, confirms to TPMmuckraker that her office in downtown New Orleans was swept after filmmaker James O’Keefe and two companions showed up to allegedly tamper with the phones Monday.

One of O’Keefe’s companions, who were allegedly dressed as repairmen, was reportedly wearing a hardhat rigged with a tiny camera.
