Pamela Geller Celebrates The Year Of The ‘Ground Zero Mosque’

Pamela Geller, blogger for Atlas Shrugs

Pam Geller, everyone’s favorite bikini-clad Islamophobe, is celebrating the power her demagoguery has to grab headlines upon the news that the debate over the “Ground Zero Mosque” was the most followed issue this year.

The debate, Geller says, “changed the course of human events.”

“WE DID IT,” Geller writes, touting news of a Rasmussen poll showing the ground zero mosque was the most followed issue among Americans this year.

“When you showed up at my AFDI/SIOA rally by the tens of thousands, you changed the paradigm. You changed the course of human events. Nothing will be the same. And we will not stop. They will not build that triumphal mosque on top of our dead,” Geller cheers. “It is all about YOU and the victims and the American patriots. We made that story happen. The subdued media would sooner cut its own throat than speak with candor or criticism about Islam, or report on jihad.”

Late Update: Geller, a former associate publisher for the New York Observer, throws up her own year in review. Check out Rachel Slajda’s story for TPM on the year in Islamophobia here.
