LiveAction Releases New Audio Targeting Planned Parenthood

Lila Rose, president of LiveAction.

LiveAction, the anti-abortion group currently waging an all-out assault on Planned Parenthood, released a new audio file today. This one was allegedly recorded in a clinic in Washington, D.C.

In it, a woman pretending to manage an underage sex ring is heard asking about getting her workers STD testing and abortion services. This tape is the fourth release from the group this month.

In an emailed statement, Planned Parenthood stressed that the audio tape is unverified and called on LiveAction to release the original source footage for all the tapes and videos they are publicizing.

Earlier today, Lila Rose, the president of LiveAction, was reportedly to join Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN) for a press conference on his bill to defund Planned Parenthood, the country’s largest provider of reproductive health care services.

Live Action has said they are sending copies of their full footage to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and will request federal and state investigations into Planned Parenthood’s “sexual abuse and sex trafficking cover up.”

The latest audio tape allegedly captures the actor asking a Planned Parenthood employee how to get STD testing and abortions for underage sex workers. But there’s a particularly disturbing moment in the recording when the actor asks the Planned Parenthood employee if she has any suggestions on what sexual acts the girls can perform in the two-week period after having an abortion when sex is considered inadvisable. The actor seemingly tries to get the employee to recommend sex acts for the minors.

Actor: I guess I had questions about how long, after an abortion, how long can they be, I guess, sexually active, I think that’s my other last thing?

Planned Parenthood employee: Normally two weeks, two to three weeks.

Actor: Do you, maybe, I guess, kind of like a personal question, you have any suggestions maybe for them, anything else they could do — what can they do, I guess, if they can’t have vaginal sex, I guess?

Planned Parenthood employee: Um. I don’t really know, because I wouldn’t recommend it, after they get a procedure.
