NPR O’Keefes James O’Keefe With Misleadingly Edited Version Of Interview (AUDIO)

James O'Keefe

National Public Radio’s “On The Media” gave conservative provocateur James O’Keefe a taste of his own medicine by employing the “black arts of broadcast editing” to create an “utterly dishonest impression” of his views.

O’Keefe spoke with Bob Garfield for a 45-minute interview that was condensed into a 12-minute segment for the program. But at the end of the edited segment, On The Media has a bit of fun at O’Keefe’s expense.

Asked by Garfield who his heroes are, O’Keefe appears to responds in the falsely edited segment “G.K. Chesterton, underage prostitutes, Attorney General Gerry Brown and hyperbole and obfuscation.”

Full segment below. The falsely edited clip starts around 11:25. “On The Media” also posted the full 45-minute unedited audio clip on their website.
