Controversial Anti-Gay Preacher Writes Letter To Obama, For Some Reason

Bradlee Dean

Bradlee Dean isn’t just Minnesota’s favorite anti-gay preacher — he’s also a concerned citizen. He’s worried about the future of America, and so, he’s decided to write President Obama a letter. And he apparently thinks the president might be interested in what he has to say.

In the rambling, three-page letter, Dean writes about his troubled past, his insecurities and the eventual path to his current faith. He writes about a “radical homosexual agenda” backed by the government. And while Dean didn’t vote for Obama, he writes that he “rejoiced in heart” at Obama’s election. But Dean’s not impressed by the president’s first term.

“… your actions in office have not taken us back to the foundation of this country, which made us so great, but instead you have made an unfortunate decision to leave off those principles to an even greater degree,” Dean writes.

In a bullet-point list, Dean goes on to list the ways he believes homosexuals are threatening the nation’s livelihood:

  • Mr. President, you chose Kevin Jennings, founder of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) as your “Safe School” czar. Kevin Jennings is an admitted radical homosexual activist who wrote the foreword to a book called “Queering Elementary Education.” He has also made clear that Harry Hay is one of his heroes. Harry Hay, Mr. President, is an icon for the organization NAMBLA (North American Many Boy Love Association - a known pedophile group) whose motto was “sex before eight it’s too late” when marching in gay pride parades.
  • Mr. President, did you know that the NEA refused to pass an amendment (I 24) designed to protect the rights of students against sexual misconduct by teachers? Incidentally, teacher crimes committed on students are rising in horrifying numbers. The NEA also went an extra step in their decision. They already had an LGBT caucus, but went the extra mile to be sure they also had a “drag queen” caucus.

For the uninitiated, Dean stirred up controversy by questioning Obama’s faith during a prayer he delivered on the Minnesota House floor. He later claimed his speech was not directed at the president. He recently filed suit against Rachel Maddow and MSNBC over comments he believes suggested he endorsed killing homosexuals.
