Glendon Swift, a 62-year-old Tennessee resident, was arrested by the FBI late yesterday for allegedly threatening Rep. Eric Cantor and his family.
The FBI says Swift left two “screaming, profanity-laden” voicemail messages with Cantor’s Virginia office on Oct. 27 and threatened Cantor, his daughter and his wife.
“Let me tell you something you Republican son of a bitch… you goddamn fucking Jew… I am going to destroy you, huh?” Swift said, according to court documents. “How about your daughter. How about if I rape your daughter? How about that, if I come into your house and kill your wife… Jew boy… Jew boy… Jew boy… Jew boy… Jew boy…”
Swift allegedly told FBI agents he “got drunk the other night and started cussing people out” but said he didn’t remember making the threats.
