Stephen Colbert

Stephen Colbert on Tuesday couldn’t help but notice the increasing number of “zombie” attacks in recent headlines.

“That’s right, cannibalism is the hot new trend,” Colbert said. “And you thought saggy pants were annoying. Folks, there is a terrifying new name for this horror: the ‘zombie apocalypse.’”

Rest assured, though. The CDC issued a statement denying that any such zombie apocalypse exists.
