Report Claims Wikileaks Founder Julian Assange Secretly Indicted In U.S.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was secretly indicted by federal prosecutors in the U.S., according to an email from private intelligence company Stratfor obtained by the hacking group Anonymous and published by Wikileaks this week.

"Not for Pub -- We have a sealed indictment on Assange. Pls protect," Stratfor official Fred Burton wrote in a Jan. 26, 2011 email to colleagues at the company. It was one of over 5 million emails obtained from Stratfor's servers. It was sent in reply to an email message from another Stratfor official linking to a CBS article about Assange.

Feds: Homeless Computer Hacker Launched 'Anonymous' Attack Over Anti-Camping Law

A homeless man upset over an anti-camping law in Santa Cruz took part in a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack on the city's computer servers last December, the feds charged Thursday.

As we told you earlier today, the feds arrested two men for hacking attacks today: an Arizona 23-year-old who allegedly hacked into Sony's servers and a California man who Fox News reported is homeless.

TPM Attacked After Posting Mugshots Of Alleged 'Anonymous' Members

Hackers launched a distributed denial of service (DDOS) attack on TPM on Friday, knocking the site off-line. TPM had posted mugshots of 14 individuals the FBI said are connected to the 'hactivist' group Anonymous earlier in the day.

Anonymous Unmasked: Mugshots Of Alleged Members Of The 'Hacktivist' Group

Thanks to a Freedom of Information Act request, TPM has obtained mugshots of the individuals the feds arrested back in July for their alleged involvement in the 'hacktivist' group Anonymous.

Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips is claiming that the hacker collective 'Anonymous' is attacking the Tea Party Nation website by getting supporters to pose as Tea Party members and post racist pictures and porn.

'Anonymous', however, has seemingly not taken credit for the attack, nor is there much evidence the attack came from them.
