Rove, Prince of Darkness Plot Election Strategy

The St. Petersburg Times gets the scoop:

The Prince of Darkness, wearing his traditional red horns and cape and carrying a smoldering pitchfork, appeared to beam as Mr. Rove, his protege, talked about how much he was looking forward to working with him on the fall campaign.

"Every time Satan and I get together, good things happen!" Rove said, adding, "Or should I say -- bad things happen!"

For some reason, the story has been pulled from their site.

Update: I just spoke to Kevin McGeever, the City Editor for tampabay.com, who explained that a satire column by Andy Borowitz that ran in this morning's St. Petersburg Times was mistakenly labeled as a news story for their online edition. Instead of Borowitz's byline, it read "Compiled from Times wires." Oops. The story has since been pulled.
