ABC: NYPD Served as Mistressmobile
From the Blotter:
Well before it was publicly known he was seeing her, then-married New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani provided a police driver and city car for his mistress Judith Nathan, former senior city officials tell the Blotter on ABCNews.com."She used the PD as her personal taxi service," said one former city official who worked for Giuliani.
New York papers reported in 2000 that the city had provided a security detail for Nathan, who became Giuliani's third wife after his divorce from Donna Hanover, who also had her own police security detail at the same time.

Just a year or two ago, New York State Comptroller Hevesi was driven from office and indicted for a felony because he provided his wife with the same thing, a driver-cum-security-guard, for a few months. Hevesi was able to cop a plea. Should RooDee get any less?

Classic moment last night when Fred Thompson alluded to Bernie Kerik after Rudy attacked Romney on hiring an illegal, and Rudy's face went red.. an insight into his pettiness.
And then there was the categorical denial at the event by Rudy himself, sure to be an attack ad that shows in 15 seconds or less what Rudy is.
Though I still remain loyal to the Gilchrest, McCain, Lindsey Graham, Hegel, Bob Dole, Colin Powell, Whitman segment of the party.. (gop realist, pragmatists) Huckabee seemed to upstage Rudy and Mit whom looked more evasive and dishonest the more I considered them.

There is much more to find about Rudy"s Romance in NY Restaurants like "Payard" and others on NYC Lex. Ave. Who paid for the restaurant expenses after Rudy Met Judy? There's more...more...more.
Keep following the money, lawsuits re: Rudy's business dealings and partners.
There is more than the taxpayer paid tryst money and where expenses were allocated and to what City Depts?
Alan Hevesi, State Comptroller [Democrat] did much the same and was drummed out of offce as he deserved. But Rudy did this and more and then buried expensed items.

"While the specific accounting mechanisms remained something of a mystery, the actual expense reports, which the Politico site obtained under the State Freedom of Information Law, do shed light on the precise nature of some of the spending. The New York Times obtained the reports late yesterday under the same law."

Bad hair day all around for Rudy. Citizens in the Blogosphere helped make it one.
The CA Secretary of State just withdrew the Rudy-backed initiative to split the electoral vote from the June ballot in response to petition fraud initiatives. first exposed by the Sacramento Bee and then connected to similar fraudulent behavior observed by ordinary citizens reporting on Firedoglake and Daily Kos.
See late-late nite FDL for the details.

Matt Rose wrote on November 30, 2007 4:22 PM:I can't understand how you liberals don't see this as a legit security expense. I mean, think what could have happened if Rudy didn't have a mistress at his disposal. He could have died of swollen gonads. Praise be to Jesus that Kerik was in place to be sure that Rudy's needs were taken care of.
Of course this doesn't apply to Bill Clinton, since his wife is hot and obviously game for a go anytime.
Thing is, I get that Republicans want to protect their guy, what I don't get is that they are willing to watch their nation destroyed by their guy's incompetence.
