but the point in retiring in 2007 was to avoid the new stricter regulations, which prohibit him from lobbying for two years. Under the old regulation, he is still prohibited for one year. Does the story bring that up?

If the regulation does apply to him (and I have no reason to think it doesn't), I figure that even though they're founding the lobbying shop today, our good ol' boy Trent will probably be engaged in "fundraising" for his new company for a year, not "actual" lobbying for outside clients.

This is sick. Obama is the only candidate who will truly try to do anything to break the lobbyist stranglehold on our government.

We want change! The Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton spin cycle is not working anymore. Hillary's most important "experience" at not making change was messing up healthcare reform in the early nineties, voting for the war in Iraq, and most recently just a few weeks ago proving she hasn't learned a thing by voting for the Bush warmongering bill to declare Iran's military to be "terrorists." Unlike Hillary, Obama was right on Iraq from the start. He is a unifier, not a divider. United we stand, divided we fall. No unity, no change. It's that simple.
