A conservative radio host in Colorado told a story on air about how someone made a comment about Chewbacca, and everyone in the room knew the reference was to Michelle Obama. "Everyone drew the conclusion. And I've tested it -- I've done group testing and I've said if I say Chewbacca what do you think?"

'Sovereign Citizen' Allegedly Sends White Powder To Feds Handling His Back Taxes Case

A man in Colorado was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly sent a manila envelope filled with white powder to state officials who were handling his back taxes case.

The envelope, which contained what turned out to be baking soda, also contained a 32-page letter that disputed the charges, and used language associated with the sovereign citizen movement, according to prosecutors.

CO School Board Member Gets Threats Over Anti-MLK Broadcasts

A school board member in Greeley, Colo., has started bringing his gun to school board meetings after, he says, he received threats over his regular radio broadcasts attacking the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

Brett Reese, who owns and manages a local radio station, plays the same commentary twice a day, every day. The commentary, which he reads, calls King a "sexual degenerate," an "America-hating communist" and a "plastic god."

He describes it as a letter he received from a listener three years ago. It can also be found on a web site, martinlutherking.org, which is run by the white supremacist group Stormfront.

In January, Colorado will begin enforcing a law that forbids bars, restaurants and liquor stores from selling low-alcohol beer -- usually low-calorie beer like Michelob Ultra, Heineken Light and others. Even Guinness may qualify as low-alcohol and be booted from Irish pubs. How did this happen?

In Colorado, convenience and grocery stores can only sell low-alcohol beer. Bars, restaurants and liquor stores can sell full-strength beer, plus wine and liquor. It's a two-tier system that was designed in order to keep full-strength beer away from fake-ID-toting minors who frequent convenience stores.

In a letter to Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Rep. Mike Coffman (R-CO) criticizes the U.S. Army's recently released final report on the Fort Hood shooting, accusing it of "avoiding the role that radical Islam played in the killing of 13 American soldiers."

He calls on Gates, and the Department of the Army, to "update the report to accurately address this threat and detail what appropriate measures are necessary to counter it."

An anonymous man in Grand Junction, Colo., has commissioned a billboard over the interstate there that shows four cartoon versions of President Obama -- as a terrorist, a gangster, a bandito and a gay man -- gambling with the Bible, the Constitution and Uncle Sam.

The artist who designed the billboard, Paul Snover, won't say who paid him $500 to create the image. But he did explain what the unidentified man wanted to say:
