Thank you Abroadabroad
The constitution is being prostituted to serve gun owners. The NRA has made the statement:
"This is just the beginning."The Second Amendment:
The exact language of the 2nd Amendment is: "A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
Scalia has interpreted "the right of the people" to mean the "right of individuals having nothing to do with any militia."
This is not interpretation it is making an entirely new law. Excuse me, weren't those right-wing judges entirely against that?
Check out the Charlie Rose interview with Scalia for a fine portrait of the man.

This politicizing comes from the top. It is intrinsic to everything the Bush administration touches. Look at the hiring practices in the initial stages of the occupation of Iraq. As long as you were a Bushie, to hell with qualifications.
But accountability will be confined to two individuals. We can only hope they break down and admit that they were under orders.
And the Bush administration will just walk away next year to their mansions, golf courses, fake ranches, fake hunting ranges.

Ashton Kutcher for Efriam? He is too refined looking. We need someone who looks like a 'punk' or a 'hood.' Heavy set and surly. Hmmm...

This could be the basis of a movie script.
Now who could play the dude? Hard to say, because he is drunk in one picture (it's a mugshot from a DUI) and baked in the other picture.
Hmmm...
I definitely want George Clooney to be the hero who solves the crime.

The ad is real, the people in it are phonies though.

Reading his MySpace, if it is authentic it demonstrates an intellect that would have trouble "organizing a two-car funeral."
This person is a front for his dad or someone with the acumen to procure a defense contract.
And how careful is the military in awarding tax-payers' money to punks and their dads on such an important contract? Not very.
That's the disgusting part of this story, the military's role. The kid could have been anyone, anyone who might be taking flying lessons (skip the landing lessons please) in Florida for example.

Mrs. McCain is not interesting enough to invite discussion.
Other than:
She should stop her staff from posting false family recipes and just keep staring at her husband as he tries to give speeches.Posted at June 18, 2008 1:26 PM in response to McCain Campaign Falsely Accuses DNC Of "Attacks" On Cindy McCain
