Israel needs the US to take out first the anti-aircraft guns so that they can then bomb Iran, so we won't be jumping in to "finish" but we'll be in at the get-go.

Maybe Hillary is confusing two different landings. However, her inability to straighten this out only makes more apparent the incompetence of her campaign.
The foreign policy experience meme is silly. We usually elect state governors who have little foreign experience. This time around we have 3 senators and although McCain has the most "experience", i.e., sitting on a panel, he seems not to know the difference between the Sunni and the Shia.
Right now Obama seems more intelligent and able to process info more quickly and with greater depth than Hillary. This long campaign has shown major flaws in Hillary's ability to deal with change and make needed corrections to her strategy.

"Hillary's path is a difficult one but after Puerto rico it is possible to have the popular vote. she can say her wins represenbt the larger electoral college votes. if she does that and polls better against Mccain she can make a strong case."
I just don't understand this. There is no popular vote. Some states held caucases. Some caucus states don't even release the voting numbers, only the results.
As for the "electoral college" votes, primary wins & numbers do not mean much in the GE. And the polls don't either this far from the election.

I also wonder about the sincerity of posts like this. Sporcupine gave a credible intelligent 11 point list and the response from lalo was what?
I would expect Obama to restore our constitutional rights also. Hillary with her flag burning ban...questionable.

I think the primary has shown that Obama just surpasses Clinton in terms of intellect, grasp of policy details, nuance, depth of knowledge, the ability to inspire people and to organize a solid 40 state campaign.
The MSM is of course going to be on McCain's side so any Dem candidate will have an uphill battle but as with his evident cluelessness yesterday, it is going to be hard to hide McCain's weaknesses.Posted at March 19, 2008 10:34 AM in response to November Winner and THE SPEECH

You keep repeating the same thing over and over with nothing to back your assertion: "My premise is why they haven't done that until now, despite all the emotion; and why would they do it in the general?"
Hillary is still in the race; maybe they prefer her right now. What does that prove? I voted for neither Hillary or Obama. Doesn't mean I won't vote for one of them in the GE.
Your argument can be changed to : Can Hillary win in November with only 10% or less of the black vote?

One of the problems with your argument is this:
"If he couldn't win them from Clinton, he will not win them from McCain." Voting in a primary is not an indication of the voting in the GE.
Your first point (the factors for Obama's success)is also very slanted, just a repetition of Hillary's talking points.
Also, Bill Clinton only won in '92 because Ross Perot siphoned off the Republican vote.Posted at March 18, 2008 9:08 PM in response to November Winner and THE SPEECH
