  • Obama Should Just Tell Them to RTFW.

I've been less than impressed with Obama's rapid-response operation this week, as McCain and Clinton rolled out the meme that he's merely an inspirational thinker and not a "grownup" policy thinker with "solutions."  So long to all that.  Why doesn't...more »

  • A good chunk of Clinton's support comes from Limbaugh ditto-heads looking to make mess of the Dem primary.

And a good chunk are longtime Democrats who have been convinced that Obama is an elitist Muslim Black Panther. These numbers point to one thing only: Hillary's scorched earth campaign.

  • As for former Rhodes scholar George Stephanopoulos, the answer lies in his tell-all memoir "All Too Human." George took Monicagate as a personal betrayal, which in his mind still dwarfs any and all of the Bush administration's perfidies. He seeks a Clinton restoration, nurtured by the same issue-free symbolic politics that brought him down, by way of closure on Monicagate.

  • "Typical white people" are racist enough in 2008 that casting directors still recast Asian American roles with white actors on the grounds that white audiences won't pay money to see Asian Americans (particularly men) in starring roles. It wasn't too long ago that Asian Americans were stereotyped as the ultimate nerdy computer whizzes. It's amazing how quickly they were pushed aside once the Internet became recognized as an instrument of economic, social and political power.
