  • I missed the Hillary speech. Was it really that bad? I haven't found a transcript on the news yet.

  • When does the Hillary party actually start? One doesn't like to be late to a wake.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

  • As for why we would call African Americans: it's true that our primary mission is to register unmarried women. However, our ultimate goal is to get as many people overall registered and participating in our democracy.
I'm calling bullshit on that. From the WVWV "about" page:
Women's Voices. Women Vote started with one goal in mind: Improving unmarried women's participation in the electorate and policy process. We have an experienced team working to achieve this goal, and have made successful strides.
    And, from the FAQ:
Based on U.S. Census data and groundbreaking original survey research, Women's Voices. Women Vote developed messages that resonated with unmarried women and designed a turnkey voter registration and get-out-the-vote program that can be used nationwide to increase the number of women on their own participating in American democracy.
As far as I can tell, there's neither interest nor expertise in targeting men. Also, "low propensity voters" is just a euphemism for "African Americans." There is not a chance in hell a recipient of that call would have been helped. Anybody who listens to it would recognize it for what it is.

  • Yep. That's right.

Hey, how many Lamonts are female? Any guesses?

  • Hey Sarah, great that you're trying to get voters registered. Yay democracy!

A few questions if you please:

    1. Can you get me in touch with Lamont? Oh, he's fictional? Why's that?
    2. Why did the call have a blocked number?
    3. Where did WVWV get their NC database?
    4. How many such calls did your organization make before the registration date passed?

    Love,
    Hermagoras

  • If it's just a screwup, then WVWV should be able to produce the actual Lamont Williams really quickly, right? Right?

  • Responses to Obama's "bitter" statement have varied. I didn't mind it, but my wife did. However, it's hard to see how any Democrat can react positively to Hillary's obvious bullshit and win-at-any-cost opportunism. It's just disgusting.
