While this is good news I would add; a lot can happen before the next election and now is not the time for complacency.

The Obama/Webb ticket didn't receive much chatter til recently. I think its a great ticket, he firmly complements Obama's strengths and minimizes Obama's most glaring vulnerabilities (lack of military experience).
He is articulate, and a writer.
Natch.

Given all the distractions that are occurring, I think Obama is more than proving his "toughness" credentials.
Hang in there O.

If Obama doesn't attack, he's weak and unqualified to be CiC. If he does attack, he's mean and unqualified to be CiC.
So I say attack away, nothing to lose there. And to be fair, his "attacks" are highlighting differences in their positions. Not that fairness is relevant to Hillary.
Assuming HRC and her supporters don't have glass jaws, they should be happy. Don't have to address issues or talk about harrowing experiences dodging sniper bullets.

Attacking mandates is a good idea if for no other reason than they are DOA in Congress. Too controversial and too easily used as a reelection weapon. It's a waste of time even considering them.

If Hillary can't take the heat, she should get out of the kitchen.
Glass jaw, looks like to me. Maybe got it while dodging sniper bullets in Bosnia.

Nobody seriously believes HRC has any real chance to win the nomination. Not even her own supporters think she has much of a chance when they they're being honest.
Thus, by the process of elimination, we arrive at the only plausible purpose for HRC's Quixote crusade--to diminish Obama's influence and protect the Clinton (and the special interest groups they represent) de facto control of the Democratic party.
Barak surprised everyone with his campaign effectiveness and yes, toughness. It's a new day coming, and it can't come soon enough.

How can you pardon someone who has never been convicted (speaking of Karl Rove)?
The real question, in my mind, is what the next President is going to do with all of those swirling questions concerning executive privilege that are being used as judicial cudgels? Will the next President pull a Gerald Ford and sort of issue a blanket amnesty so we can "move on", or will they let the wheels grind through the courts?
I don't think this is necessarily a easy question, much as many of us would like to see the perpetrators (or perpetraitors?) of the worst of W's abuses have to face justice for their actions.
A hornets nest, a big one.
