  • I can just see McCain and Obama getting into a bidding war for Paris' script writer.

An awesome piece of work. It makes both candidates energy policies seem laughable.

  • There are several appeals required before this gets to an actual court of law where his conviction will be overturned - after the November election.

  • Enough about Mukasey. The next, and only, thing I want to hear about him is that he is being impeached. If blatantly refusing to live up to the oath of office (to enforce the laws of the nation) is not an impeachable offense, then nothing is.

BTW, this ignoring subpoenas and refusing to testify is getting out of hand since Mary Kay Olsen is now taking this approach. Of course, if the Senate doesn't get their subpoenas enforced, how can local judges expect their subpoenas to be honored?

  • Al in Austex:

You don't think that just maybe, Pelosi has been illegally wiretapped by the NSA (Republican party) and there is something in her past that they are holding over her head?

That would be the perfect explanation for why "Impeachment is off the Table".

  • If anyone, especially Leahy, believes that either Rove or Bolten will have any memory of any events if he is under oath to tell "the truth and nothing but the truth", I would like some of what they have been smoking.

I would also like to see all these "memory loss" people in jail after they write their books and prove that they lied under oath when they said they couldn't remember any events which happened during their political "service" to America - excuse me - during their political service to the Republican party.

  • The downfall of the Democrat party will be the fact that they gave the Republicans enough rope to hang themselves, and then continued giving until the Republicans had enough rope to hang the Democrats for not using their powers to hold the Republicans accountable for anything.

Why doesn't anyone ask Pelosi why impeachment is still "off the table", why inherent contempt is off the table, and why the Democrats are not doing the job they were elected to do, and keep asking until they get answers that make any kind of sense?

One other question I waiting for anyone to ask is: "where is the money coming from to finance the "Economic Stimulus Packages"?

  • Am I missing something or did Mukasey just admit that there is no actual evidence that would stand up in an actual court of law against any of the detainees at Gitmo?

  • Wow. Another investigation leading nowhere, finding no facts, and having no results.

How dumb does Conyers think the American people are?

This is just further evidence that America needs a third political party. Both the Republicans and Democrats in Congress have the same agenda - screwlng the taxpayer.
