ABC is on the offensive. Obama just spoke to an audience in NC about the debate. Here's his take:
"It took us 45 min before we even started talking about a single issue that matters to the American people...45 minutes before we heard about healthcare, 45 min before we heard about Iraq, 45 min before we heard about jobs, 45 min before we heard about gas prices."
So what is ABC's headline? "Obama Attempts to Brush Off Tough Debate". Tough debate? Try "Obama Points Out That ABC Not Ready to Discuss Anything of Substance".

I think George should change his name to Richard Head ... but you can call him Dick.

In fact, I hope he send one on about all her lies.
Go and watch this video. It is an indictment of Hillary's lies, all compressed into just a few minutes.

Finally, and this is the most worrisome aspect of McCain's economics, if he gets what he wants, he has two fiscal choices: deeply cut entitlement programs, especially those related to health care, or blow a massive hole in the budget.
Entitlement programs (i.e. Social Security and Medicare) currently run surpluses. If he cuts those, then all he's doing is shifting (or "borrowing") yet MORE trust fund surpluses for the general budget. That just pushes the problem off on some future President who will be forced to deal with the eventual shortfalls, when the borrowing will have to be paid back.
Bush is already raping these funds to the tune of about $400 billion per year. Jacking up these surpluses and "borrowing" them was actually a centerpiece of Reagan's tax policy, and Bush I lapped up every dollar too. Touching them would mean that McCain would just continue those disastrous policies.
Borrow and spend, and push the problem off on the next generation. It's the Republican way!

More proof that the Bush administration has been driven by greed and the desire to help out their contractor buddies who gave big donations to the GOP, rather than simple incompetence.
Not that Bushco didn't bring an overabundance of incompetence to the table...

I want them to disbar Alberto "I Don't Remember / I Don't Recall" Gonzales permanently.
They can line up John "I Like Torture" Yoo at the same time.

Bill pulled the race card in SC. Hillary endorsed John McCain over Obama. Bill went on Limbaugh's show on the day of the TX primary. Ferraro pulls the race card and the female victim card simultaneously. Hillary cozies up to Richard Mellon Scaife, a man who directly accused her of being complicit in the murder of Vince Foster. Hillary distributes an anti-Obama article from the American Spectator. And now Hillary and her supporters, including xyndau, blame her poor performance as a candidate on the dreaded "MSM".
Are the Clintons stealth Republican? Rove must be so proud.

Can you imagine George Bush admitting he was wrong in front of a not-too-friendly crowd?
Cut that question off immediately after the word "wrong" and you're on to something.

"I was wrong. I was wrong and eventually realized in time to give full support of a state holiday in my home state of Arizona."
He manned up and said he was wrong and apologized. (Ever see Hillary do that?) I refuse to vote for McCain, but I'm willing to give him a pass on this one.
Now let's talk about his sucking up to John Hagee and Jerry Falwell...

Mmmmmm. I smell more than a whiff of warmed over desperation coming from the Clinton camp.
Hillary ain't gonna' be the Democratic nominee, and that's never been a possibility in their world. (See her Super Tuesday strategy if you disagree. Reminds me of GW's "plans" for post-war Iraq.) I think reality is finally getting through to them, and they're livid. How can people be so ignorant as not to see her (their?) greatness?
