Come on, Joe Biden -- this deserves a "bullshit" too.

It's over. We've won.
I think it's time to try to make nice to Hillary. Not enough to support her going on the ticket, which I think would be a huge mistake. And not enough to make nice to her campaign's hacks and scumbags like Mark Penn, Howard Wolfson, Lanny Davis and the abominable Terry McAuliffe, who deserve to rot in obscurity for the rest of their days. But enough so at least we don't come off like sore winners.
Hillary actually made nice yesterday, saying the right things in response to Bush's bullshit, as Joe Biden so aptly put it. If she's really turning over a new leaf, I think us Obama supporters should try to do the same. Even though it is hard.
Kumbaya baby.

I agree but I think it's equally important that the Obama campaign and his supporters call out McCain on his hypocrisy about claiming he wants a campaign that stays out of the gutter.

Hey, for a Republican this almost qualifies as honorable behavior. I mean, look at Newt Gingrich, asking his first wife for a divorce while she was in the hospital being treated for cancer.

It's ok because the race is over. Let it go.
Good advice which I will do my best to follow.
So I now make the following pledge:
I will not say anything bad about Hillary anymore so long as she refrains from saying anything bad about Obama or anything stupid about "hard-working white voters."
I will not say anything bad about the 99 percent of Hillary supporters who backed her because they honestly believed she was the best candidate. I will do my best to recognize they are not happy now, give them time to grieve and be as nice to them as I can. (As trite as this sounds, some of them are even my friends.)
I will make no such pledge when it comes to the likes of Mark Penn, Lanny Davis, Terry McAuliffe and Howard Wolfson who made a lot of money spreading cynical lies and Orwellian double-talk. They neither reflect nor represent Clinton's volunteers and supporters, the Obama campaign does not need them to win in November, and their absence from the electoral scene would only improve our democracy.
Glad I got that off my chest. Now, time to be a grown up and be nice.

Even though Obama's got the nomination, CWA and Cohen are still good and important "gets."
What we clearly have now is labor coalescing around Obama, leaving AFSCME, AFT and the Machinists all the more isolated and irrelevant.

Glad they're going positive, but it's still a waste of money for every individual, organization and union PAC that contributed -- especially AFSCME's PAC.
If you consider that labor's #1 goal is passage of the Employee Free Choice Act -- and that this will require 60 votes in the Senate and a Democrat in the White House -- shouldn't all of every labor PAC's money be spent strategically on key House and Senate candidates and on the general election for president? Primary spending like this is money diverted from the real objective. (Kind of like invading Iraq when you're supposed to be going after al Qaeda.)
This is a good piece that touches on some of these issues as well:
