What's amazing is that she has clearly greatly insulted community organizers, doing legitimate work, who are also REPUBLICANS. She is nothing. She is complete fair game to attack. If she wants to play in the big leagues then have at her Obama/Biden or whomever. She clearly has an ego, as demonstrated by her saying 'yes' to McCain, even as she knew her experience was underwhelming for the VP job. I always despised Harriet Miers for saying yes to Bush, but never got a comeuppance for her arrogance. Perhaps Ms Palin will get that instead. I want to see her completely slammed by the Press. I'm tired beyond reason with these Evangelicals and the sorrows they've wrought on this country. They shoved Bush on us, and his failings are their fault. They don't deserve to keep the WH. And if they have to go down in flames, with the Press' help, then God's will be done. I have no use for them.

This past Sunday GOP pollster Frank Luntz led a focus group of 25 'undecided voters' in Minnesota. Of the questions he asked them was:
"What's more important to you: experience or accountability?" Overwhelmingly, the group picked 'accountability' as the most important issue. Of course, he was talking about the presidential race. Bush has wrecked things so much for this country, and the GOP, with his reckless leadership style and his clear 'lack' of accountability on many counts that voters are very wary of leaders who may show a lack of accountability in their offices. This stonewalling by Palin, if she does it as her attorney threatens, will not be well-regarded by voters, here or in Alaska. And now that the Press has been rejuvenated with 24/7 stories that Palin is providing they won't likely let this slip past.Posted at September 2, 2008 11:36 PM in response to Palin Dragging Feet on Probe

and in case anyone doesn't know it: the next name on the 2008 hurricane list is 'Ike'. now just think about the irony in that name? Imagine that storm waiting ominously over the horizon, coming towards us, and we won't know where it will strike. It's like Hurricane Ike represents the military industrial complex that would support Prez McCain on his advances toward a new Cold War with Russia and China. but the hitch is we 'thinking' Americans can see the storm coming before it gets here and stay safe by voting for the change of course that a Prez Obama will bring. the irony and symbolism is just too much to ignore. Rove is an a-hole and karma is a bitch, turdblossom.

The problems many people face should be laid at the feet of the GOP. They pick the politics of slash and burn and character destruction over the politics of hope and seeing what's good in this country. Nothing but misery and negativity when I think of that party. They play the fear card so much they can only dwell there too, as that's all they know. They are afraid of everything. They chose Bush and rejected McCain in 2000. Now they support McCain, and he has gone running to them, because that's all they have. and fear. The middle word of GOP is old, and it's very apt. Old and tired and bereft of ideas. Their world view consists of U.S. only and all else on this planet be damned. All human beings share this planet but the GOP doesn't care. They are the cause of many sorrows that abound today. Buckley, someone whom many Republicans respected, said it right when he stated the current GOP should retreat into the wilderness and figure itself out. This world is going forward with or without them. I hope they never come back, not in the current incarnation for sure. They don't deserve to win this election or many other elections for years to come. Cast off those intolerant religious sorts that currently run their party and platform and maybe we can talk. But until then, they can forget it. Good riddance. Welcome Barack Obama, future President of the United State. This American Dream is just beginning.

there's nothing wrong at all with being 'sensitive' to every McCain rove-like attack. it's because you care supremely about the country and you know/we know, Obama and Biden do also. McCain sold his POW gained principles down the river when he saddled up with Rove and his proteges, and decided to listen to the Neo-cons and their whisperings of sweet-nukings, all done in order to further his staggering ambition to win the keys to the White House. it sticks in your craw, and mine too, when he attacks Obama for getting in his way to that end. he attacks him spitefully and viciously and unprincipally. McCain has shown himself for what he really is: a real elitist, out-of-touch, reactionary, thin-skinned, petulant, and unprincipled. thank you for service, sir, but that sacrifice doesn't translate into automaticaly getting the job of President (no matter what hannity thinks). you could've taken the high-road, the one that 2000 version of you did, and perhaps it might've gotten you somewhere this election season. but you didn't. for that you should be ashamed of yourself. you really are better than that. i used to think so at least.

this is outrageous b shit. McCain didnt bother to show up and vote 'no' against the GI bill, instead he was at a fundraiser. putting himself first, and not the country on that count. thank you for your service, sir, but you are not fit to be president if you attack your opponent like this. you are an old fool. what an utter sellout. principles, what principles?!? he sold them to Karl Rover.

hey self-loathing person, whomever you are...McCain is 25 YEARS OLDER than Obama, so he naturally has had more time to do things in life, including accomplishments and failings in whatever abundance, by this mere FACT. so get a clue, not my brother, and object to Obama for substantive reasons, if you must, but not for petty and superficial things. including his birth year and time which he had no control over. idiot.

just curious, troll, but do you know if Obama has ever had a martini at the Hay-Adams? for that matter, have you? and, no, I haven't. but i want someone with a high-intellect to tackle the problems that we face in this country for the next 4 years. thanks to uncaring fools like yourself we got Bush eight years ago, and look where that got us. pretty much nowhere. he's anti-curious and intellectual. with serious problems of these times, I'd think you'd want someone with an intellect and a serious temperament, not given to overt emotion, to handle those problems. perhaps you don't care enough about this country to want, or maybe never did. oh, and McCain won't bring that. if these are the two choices we have: Obama is the choice. i'll take his 'potential' over McCain's 'experience'.
