  • George and ABC failed MISERABALY. Americans are completely disgusted with the media thinking that they can lead the narrative, thereby affecting the vote. The idiotic pundits (who never know what Americans REALLY think) are truly afraid that their influence has fallen to such a degree that they are now pimping their jobs with sensationalized crap, just to be watched. Americans DO NOT want to hear these overused and utterly uninteresting questions. Our country is floundering, while George and ABC are hosting a very 'bitter' Entertainment Tonight.

  • I cannot help but empathize with the Dems who believe that if they back off and weaken FISA, as you well know, the Rethugs will allow or even create an attack, and blame it on Dems for being 'soft on terror'. Please, everyone, think hard about this one. Anyone who doesn't believe that BUSHCO would allow many to die (Katrina) for purpose of political gain isn't living in the America I am.

  • I have been a very strong Democrat for nearly 50 years. However, because of the Dems who voted for that vile resolution yesterday, I have decided to change my party affiliation to Independent. For the first time ever, I'm willing to vote for either party, as IMO, they are both horrid. I also gave all my money to MoveOn. Maybe they can field candidates who DO WHAT AMERICA WANTS, and will never give into the Bush Crime family's threats. We truly now live in a fascist country. The Dems just proved it.

  • I keep saying LOUDLY that they are preparing us for a huge attack on a major infrastructure (already in CNN Headline News). Even Chertoff is making noises, telling us to get ready, they're coming. Only our DHS is a sad joke, and lots of positions are still not even filled. The Bush Crime Family wants this to happen in a big way, because they cannot win in '08. Since Rove's strategy has failed with the USA's, then lying and terror is ALL THEY'VE GOT. Oh, and don't forget...bomb, bomb, bomb... bomb, bomb Iran. Will the real America please STAND UP!

  • Bloomberg was for the war in Iraq. If someone asks him his views now, and how he'd get us out, then I'd be willing to listen to him. Otherwise, he's just another RWM (rich white male).

  • Well written, and I agree with your assessment. We desperately need to have publicly-financed elections. The political process has become a nauseating circus. Personally, I don't care for any of the 'frontrunners'!

  • Why on earth would we trust Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, or Rice when they lied us into a catastrophic war, while M. Chertoff "supervised" the absolute worst governmental and natural disaster ever recorded...Katrina? Trust them?...NOT WITH MY LIFE!!!

  • I am so giddy!!! Bless you, Sir, for having the courage to speak out and tell us the truth. Please consider being a central spokesperson for the Dems. They just don't seem to be able to get a cohesive front going, and I believe that you have that ability. We all like Kerry, but he was NOT the right one to run against Dubya. We are so desperate to STOP the total annililation of what we hold dear in America. I, along with others, sit and just gasp at what these morons do ON A DAILY BASIS. Thank you, and don't EVER give in to their complete bullshit!

  • The Republicans have no shame! They are all on their way out, and I believe that although Democrats are not a lot better, Americans will elect them only because there is no better alternative. In my opinion, the Democrats could completely rock if they would adopt just one basic platform for reform...that of the separation of church and state. The Bush Administration has completely ignored that very important portion of our Constitution. I know that Americans are upset about a great many issues, but this basic principle would be a well-received platform for change. The neocons are not a majority, no matter what the wingnuts believe to be true.
